A presiding officer in Teso North was on Tuesday morning taken into police custody for allegedly misleading voters .
The officer is accused of asking voters to mark two spots on ballot papers.
It is, however, not clear which seat Robert Osara of Koteng'o Sokoni polling station was targeting.
While confirming the incident, Teso South OCPD Paul Odede said that the suspect was arrested by curious voters who suspected he was up to no good.
"It is alleged that he was convincing naive voters to put two marks as proof of voting in a certain ballot paper," Odede said.
"We immediately went to the police station and interrogated him as part of our investigations."
