IEBC is facing another 'headache' in Samburu West ahead of the repeat October polls presidential election.
This comes after Presiding officers and their deputies on Friday staged demonstrations protesting against what they said was poor allowances.
The officers are expected to manage the forthcoming repeat election scheduled for October 26.
They have threatened to boycott the exercise if the commission will not raise their allowance.
According to their spokesperson James Lorogum, the officers said they have been paid Sh1,000 for the four days which equals to Sh250 per day. They have demanded to be paid a four day allowance of Sh4,000.
