[Photo|IEBC]The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has indicated that all the 40,883 polling stations presented hard copy of Forms 34As for tabulation into Forms 34Bs and for subsequent announcement of results. However, IEBC said only a few- which are 22 polling stations did not transmit the electronic version of the same, but 4,0861 out of the total 40,883 have now transmitted, the forms.IEBC Communications team said there will be no more changes on the public results portal when they hit and balance off at 40,883. Citing questions from the public, as to why the public results portal was still tallying election results of the presidential election after final declaration was made, IEBC said the results being updated are not new.The commission clarified that the results are the electronic results derived from the forms which agents already have copies."These are not new results but the electronic results derived from the forms which agents already have copies. And as stated before, where there is a variance between the electronic and the hard copy, the hard copy takes precedence," the Commission said in a statement, Tuesday.IEBC's clarification comes after NASA presidential campaign team expressed disappointment that it has failed and or refused to release and share copies of Forms 34Bs to candidates or their agents days after the Commission made a declaration of the results."The Coalition’s Agents have been following up with the Commission since Saturday for a release of the same to date without any success. The said Forms cannot be traced or accessed on the Commission’s on line portal," read a statement from the campaign team, Monday evening. In response, CEO Ezra Chiloba however clarified that the forms are still in use, and will be availed to them.
