Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chief Excutive Officer (CEO) Ezra chiloba has said all is well with the electoral body’s database. Speaking to the nation at 8 pm, Chebukati said that their team of experts could not validate the claims by NASA leader Raila Odinga. He said that the codes provided by opposition could not be verified.
“Our election management system is secure. The codes that were given can be substantiated on our end. No passwords were given to anyone in the board until the eve of election,” said Chiloba.
Addressing journalists, the IEBC CEO said that Raila Odinga has not launched an official complaint. He stated that they only did verification after getting the news via media channels. Chiloba also revealed that they have not made an official communication to NASA regarding the response to rigging claims.
“We have not received any formal complaint from opposition,” he said.
