The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) on Wednesday indicated that form 34Bs from the 290 constituencies in the country are now available to the public. This comes even after the National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga announced on Wednesday that he will be challenging the outcome of the presidential results at the Supreme Court, holding that President Uhuru Kenyatta was declared the winner based on fictitious results.According to Capital newspaper, IEBC said the results declaration forms from the Diaspora had been uploaded on the Commission’s public portal for download by members of the public.Earlier on, IEBC Chief Executive Officer Ezra Chiloba had promised to provide the opposition with all results declaration forms, calling for patience to be able to upload all the form 34As and 34Bs.With Odinga having indicated on Sunday that he would communicate the way forward to his supporters with regards to the General Election on Tuesday, the request by NASA appears to have suggested that the Opposition chief was in fact considering moving to court despite having ruled out the possibility.

The focus now shifts to the Supreme Court where NASA, IEBC and the ruling Jubilee Party will seek to convince a bench led by Chief Justice David Maraga on the authenticity or otherwise of presidential results declared and gazetted on Friday by the Chairperson of the electoral commission, Wafula Chebukati.
