Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has clarified what will happen in the likely event no voting takes place in some polling stations.Vice-Chairperson Consolata Nkatha on Saturday, while receiving the first batch of presidential ballot papers at JKIA, stated that the commission would conduct the election in accordance with the law."We are not aware that there will be no voting anywhere, so if there's a zero it is a zero," she explained. She, however, declined to comment on Commissioner Roselyn Akombe's recent resignation from the electoral body stating that she was entitled to her own personal decision."There's no gap in decision making in the commission. We have our plenary meetings and our commissioners are coming back where we will have a plenary meeting on Monday to make sure all the processes have been done," she maintained.NASA leader Raila Odinga on Sunday claimed that the ballot papers were printed in the country and not in the Dubai based printing firm Al Ghurair. He also maintained that the NASA outfit shall not take part in the forthcoming repeat presidential poll scheduled for October 26.Raila dismissed IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba's leave saying he is playing with Kenyans minds.
