Speaking during the celebration of 70 years since the African brotherhood was started which was held in Machakos town, Karanja said that the Cord coalition should use legal means to ensure that IEBC is disbanded.

Nonetheless Karanja said that the commission has proved to be incompetent in conducting fair, free and transparent elections since the last by-elections have been marred with malpractises.

Even as the malpractices were reported, the claims fall on deaf years and the commission has done nothing in a bid to avert any future occurrences.

Speaking in the same occasion Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka said that corruption has been the order of the day in the country and the jubilee government has failed to fight it.

He also said that he will be vying for the presidential seat in next year where he promised to fight corruption from the roots.

The celebrations were also attended by Machakos deputy governor Bernard Kiala, Machakos women rep Susan Musyoka among thousands of faithfuls from all over the country.

One week prior to this occasion the church had  involved itself in cleaning of churches and markets in preparation to the great day.
