The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has spoken hours after their ICT manager Mr Chris Msando's body was found dumped at the Nairobi City Mortuary after he went missing for three days.

Speaking for IEBC at the mortuary, chairperson Wafula Chebukati said more needs to be done on the incidents to ensure the perpetrators are brought to justice.

"We are working with the police and the family so that the killers of Chris Msando are brought to justice. There is no doubt that he was Tortured and Murdered, the question is Who and Why," he said.

Chebukati also demanded more security for IEBC officials following the untimely death of Msando.

"For us to have a free and fair elections all IEBC employees must be protected," he said.
