[Photo/File]The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission has yet received another setback in its bid to get a solution for the printing of the presidential ballot papers after Friday court ruling that squashed the AlGhurair tender. On Monday afternoon IEBC was to meet with presidential candidates and their representative at the Hilton hotel to discuss the ballot issue, however, it is only Ekuru Aukot of the Thirdway Alliance Kenya, and independent candidates Micheal Wainaina and Japeth Kaluyu who showed up physically among the eight presidential candidates.President Uhuru Kenyatta has been represented by Jubilee Secretary-General Raphael Tuju and parliamentary leaders Aden Duale, Kithure Kindiki and Kipchumba Murkomen while Nasa’s Mr Raila Odinga is represented by senators James Orengo and Johnson Muthama, Suna East MP Junet Mohamed and presidential campaign secretariat chairman Willis Otieno. However, the meeting may take longer to reach a solution on the matter after Jubilee Party said they will oppose the proposals to discuss the printing of presidential ballot and will instead retreat to respond later. It even got worse after Aukot walked out of the meeting saying IEBC is acting in bad faith after Friday's High Court ruling.
