IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba confirmed the printing after the Appellate court squashed a High Court ruling that had halted the printing of the papers.

The case was filed by the Opposition National Super Alliance which argued that the Dubai-based Al Ghariar firm had close ties with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“In as far as the (Appellate) court decision is concerned, for us we see it as a green light to proceed to do what we are supposed to do.

“We are two days late and that meant that immediately the decision was rendered, we had to get in touch with Dubai and issued instructions that they should proceed with the printing,” Chiloba said during an interview on NTV.
