IEBC team that is set to carry out Kitutu Chache South parliamentary seat by-elections in Kisii county has been warned against being manipulated by any aspirant as they will face unending court battles.

According to one of the aspirants from the ODM party Samuel Omwando, the electoral body has a bad record of delivering credible elections more so considering the fact that the country recorded many petitions in court than any election that has ever been held.

Speaking on Wednesday while rallying more locals to support his ambitions Omwando said he will deploy vigilant agents to ensure that IEBC doesn't rig in his close competitors.

"All I want is free and fair elections that will see the will of the people of Kitutu Chache South upheld and that can only be actualised if IEBC carries out free and fair by-election of which am confident I will win," said Omwando.

The by-election is set for November 7 and may turn out to be a litmus for both Jubilee and NASA.
