Kitutu Chache South parliamentary aspirant under ODM Samuel Omwando has said he will be challenging the outcome of the results before the high court alleging that IEBC was compromised by a section of aspirants.
According to Omwando, the process wasn't free and fair and IEBC was manipulated by some of the candidates and in the process affected the outcome.
Speaking shortly after Onyonka widened the winning margin Omwando accused of IEBC of not working independently and for allowing some of his officials to be bribed by some candidates of which he claimed he has evidence.
"Let IEBC now embrace tough times ahead as I am going to file a petition and I am sure I will be enjoined by other aspirants who lost," said Omwando.
The just concluded elections saw the immediate former MP Richard Onyonka emerge the winner with 10,122 votes while Omwando was third.
