A section of NASA supporters drawn from Kisii county has called upon the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) to ensure that they work on the demands that their leader Raila Odinga has raised if they want a peaceful election.
Led by Bomariba MCA Protus Moindi the agitated group said that the electoral body has been keeping silent on the matters and carrying business as usual and vowed to lead Kisii county residents to oust the top officials that have been called upon to step down.
Speaking on Wednesday at Zonic Hotel Protus warned IEBC of leaning against leaning to the Jubilee side a that will lead to a serious problem that has never been observed before in the Kenyan history.
“The IEBC need to act as fast as possible as that will see Kenyans go into another presidential re-election or else we see a situation whereby we will be having a constitutional; crisis in Kenya,” said Moindi.
The Mca also pointed out that the nine items NASA stated that must be acted on are geared toward sealing any loophole that was observed in the recently concluded elections.
This comes on a day that the IEBC has organized a meeting between Jubilee and NASA in amid to ensure that they both get amicable solutions to the current political tug of war.
