Bogeka ward representative Charles Nyagoto Kitutu has warned the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission against distributing election materials in Kisii County.
The MCA said that the leaders of the County and the residents shall block all the attempts by the commission to distribute polling materials in the stations as a way of rejecting the process.
“The NASA leadership in Kisii County will block the election officials from distributing election materials in all the polling stations as a way of rejecting repeat presidential elections,” said Nyagoto.
Addressing the press on Monday after joining demonstrations in Kisii town the MCA said that they will ensure reforms in the electoral body for a credible, fair and verifiable before the repeat presidential elections are conducted.
The protesters also called for the availability of Kisii County Governor James Ongwae to participate in the ongoing demonstrations in the county, to show his solidarity with the NASA coalition.
