[Photo| Courtesy]Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) commissioner Roselyne Akombe has admitted meeting with Jubilee Party Secretary General Raphael Tuju. She dismissed claims that she had had meetings with the Opposition's National Super Alliance (Nasa), ahead of the fresh presidential election October 17."I have never met the Nasa leadership. I have met Tuju. Why is no one talking about my meeting with him?"This is after some Jubilee leaders accused her of working closely with Nasa, and revealing IEBC information to the coalition.Speaking to a local daily, the vocal IEBC Commissioner said: "I have never met any politician over election issues after the Supreme Court ruling."Akombe clarified that her meeting with any political party representative, was with Tuju, and the meeting was exclusively to talk issues about the electoral process."It's a meeting I can publicly confirm because as far as I am concerned, it was in the interest of the electoral process," Akombe indicated.
