Nairobi court has issued a fresh warrant for his arrest following his refusal to pay former employees of the county assembly.The court also held him accountable for flouting court appearances.

 Police boss IG Joseph Boinett was ordered to arrest the governor and ensure that he appears in court. 

According to The Star, Martin Wambora was required to appear in court to explain his reasons for sacking his two advisers and personal assistant.

The arrest warrant was also extended to the County Secretary Josephat Ndwiga and Public Service Board member Joseph Nyaga who were allegedly involved in the whole saga.

The court had previously ordered the Embu governor to rehire the three employees and pay thm their wages pending the courts decision.
