A video showing Igathe in the company of business tycoons including Chris Kirubi toasting has emerged.

The former Nairobi Deputy Governor is seen taking his cabal of friends through a toasting session, the Australian way.

He says he learned the toasting style in Queensland Australia.

The video offers hints as to why he might have fallen out with Governor Sonko that led to his resignation.

''To the best of friends, we will always be and if by chance we disagree we disagree....'' he says before firing an expletive.

Analysts say that the video drops hints that policy differences with Governor Sonko might have been the final straw that broke the camel's back.
