The project that started early last year will be officially opened on April 15 this year, where Kiambu County leaders and area MPs are expected to attend the function.
Speaking to journalists in his office, hospital administrator Joel Iregi lauded Kiambu County government for the support it has accorded the hospital.
“This far we cannot complain, we attribute the completion of this projects to governor Kabogo and his team. They indeed have helped us sail through, we have two already completed ward block and a two storey administration building,” said Iregi.
“We however increased patients in this area and we are short of medical personnel which we believe the county and national government will tackle,” he added.
