Political analyst Dismas Mokua has urged both Jubilee and NASA to ignore recent concerns raised by diplomats and foreign envoys to the country concerning the approaching presidential elections.

Speaking in an interview on KTN News Sunday,Mokua maintained that the views being raised by the diplomats are just aimed at serving their nations' interests and achieving their desired results in the elections but are not necessarily interested in the well being of the nation.

He instead advised the political players to stick to the constitutional.

‘’I would not pay any attention to the envoys’ concerns if I were either Jubilee or NASA.They  are simply trying to compel the nation to act in their desired way. What we need to do is not thrive to impress them but operate according to our constitution,’’ said Mokua.

His comments were echoed by Kimilili lawmaker Didmus Barasa who cited democratic differences as the main reason why they should stay out of Kenyan political issues.

He as well accused  the foreigners of pointing fingers without personally taking part in attempting to solve the situation.

‘’They have to understand that we have a different democracy and laws from theirs and therefore cannot operate like them and should as well try to come in to solve the stalemate before making conclusions,’’ he said.
