Homa Bay county women representative Gladys Wanga has asked Cord supporters to ignore opinion polls suggesting that Cord leader Raila Odinga is losing support in the country.
Speaking in Konyuka in Homa Bay on Friday, Wanga said Ipsos Synovate, the company that carried out the last poll study had a hidden agenda.
Results of the polls claimed majority Kenyans want Cord leader Raila Odinga to retire from politics.
She said the Jubilee administration was using opinion polls to prepare Kenyans psychologically for Raila's defeat in 2017.
"It is a biased poll company and hence I urge our supporters within the county and nationally to ignore it," she said.
