Kisii County Governor James Ongwae has called on Kisii residents to ignore the fake companies ranking governors on their performance.
According to the ODM party governor, it is only Kisii residents who will rank his work and performance because they are the same people who elected him in 2013 and 2017.
“I wish to urge Kisii residents to ignore the fake rankings by companies being used by my opponents to create misunderstanding about my work. I am committed to work and develop Kisii County as by my campaign pledges. It is only the Kisii electorates who will rank and rate my work and performance,” said Ongwae.
The county boss stated that he was not elected to compete with anyone but to serve the people of Kisii County.
“I am not competing with anyone to serve Kisii residents. My work is to ensure the mandate given to me as Kisii County governor is to serve the people without discriminating any region,” he noted.
Ongwae stated that he is ready to engage his political rivals for the sake of bringing development to the people of Kisii County.
He added that his political rivals should wait until 2022 when he will be retiring as for now he should be allowed to work.
