Noor wants her colleagues to put their mind on serving their constituents and not how much they are going to be paid.
Speaking during an interview on Citizen TV on Wednesday, the MP elect said that leadership is all about serving the people and not accumulating wealth.
Noor said that Kenyans are yearning for good laws that will better their living standards adding that MP elects should work tirelessly to ensure they formulate and implement appropriate laws once sworn to office on Thursday.
"I want to urge my colleagues to drop their pay hike demands and get down to work for their people who elected them to office on August 8," she said.
Noor, however, urged the national government to ensure that MPs are well facilitated through the Constituency Development Fund (CDF) to enable them implement projects n their various constituencies.
She said that here is much to do in order to improve the living standards of Kenyans.
A section of newly elected MPs have raised concerns over the new pay structure gazetted by the SRC.
The MP elcets claim that the reduced pay is not enough to facilitate their work and have vowed to push for a hike.
