Buzeki says despite failing to clinch the Jubilee party ticket, he will campaign for the president and his deputy to ensure they win the August polls.

Addressing the press at his campaign Secretariat in Eldoret town, Monday, the billionaire businessman claimed he was the only one with the ability to marshall non-Kalenjin voters to back Kenyatta.

"I will campaign for president Uhuru Kenyatta because I am the only one who can deliver non-Kalenjin votes in this county to Uhuru and Ruto," said Buzeki who has already declared that he will vie for the Uasin Gishu gubernatorial seat as an independent candidate.

"The current governor has been conducting tribal politics and he cannot convince people outside the Nandi community to vote for Uhuruto," he added.

Buzeki commands a huge following among the urban dwellers in Uasin Gishu county most of whom are non-Kalenjins while governor Mandago is popular in rural areas.
