Speaking during the launch of his autobiography, Against All Odds, he warned pollsters against attempting to influence the way Kenyans think in terms of election and other important aspects.

“I want to tell the pollsters to stop manipulating the minds of Kenyans. Saying Uhuru is at 50 per cent, are we really living in the same country? We warn you pollsters, we will deal with you once we form the government next year. They must stop this game,” he said, as quoted by Nation.

The Cord co-principal was addressing the latest opinion poll by Ipsos that indicated that only 2% of Kenyans would vote for him if elections were held today in this nation.

The same polls indicated that half of Kenyans would have voted for President Uhuru Kenyatta while 22% and 1% would have supported Cord leader Raila Odinga and ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi respectively. Kalonzo said that the polls do not reflect the true picture of the state of affairs in this country considering the failures of Jubilee.
