Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua has asked residents to exercise patient and embrace unity as his government implements development projects.
Addressing residents at Katangi market in Yatta sub-county on Friday, the governor said his government is on track towards realisation of development.
Mutua said he needs the support of the people and goodwill of other leaders in the county.
“We are moving forward to ensure that our people have access to quality healthcare, housing, access to education, water among other necessities,” he said.
Mutua said his agenda is to economically empower Machakos residents, adding that his development agenda is based on the real issues facing the people.
The county boss appealed to leaders to dedicate their time to serve the people. He said the county government has channeled all resources all the sub-counties.
“I want to urge leaders and administrators in the sub-counties to implement development projects,” he said.
He said that politicians should learn to work together and put their ambitions and aspirations aside.
