Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula has said that he will deliver a stronger political punch than Wiper Leader and Former Vice President Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka against the Jubilee government in the upcoming polls.
In an exclusive interview with the Standard, Wetangula affirmed that he is the best candidate to deliver victory to the coalition as opposed to the other Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (Cord) co-principals Kalonzo Musyoka and Raila Odinga.
“I am the one who has given them an assurance that I will be able to deliver a stronger punch against Jubilee and deliver victory for our coalition, which will be the victory for the country. The person who can do that is Wetang’ula,” he said as quoted by the Standard.
According to Wetangula both Raila and Kalonzo has contested for the seat in the past and lost to the President thus making the best candidate to smoke Jubilee from power when that time comes.
“I have been quite categorical. My brothers have run before and I am the one who has not been tested and whose political tricks have not been let out of the bag yet,” he added.
