The former KTN investigative reporter has assured residents that he will be at their service anytime they need him.
Addressing locals at Nyali town on Wednesday, Ali said that his leadership will be people centered.
“I ran for this seat to address the issues facing you (Nyali) people and not to be an absentee MP as others do after being elected to office,” he said as quoted by the Standard.
Ali said that he has the interests of the common people at heart, adding that he knows the challenges facing they are going through.
The former investigative reporter who won the seat as an independent candidate said that his first agenda once sworn in office on Thursday will be to formulate and support laws that will create jobs for the unemployed youth.
He also pledged to support polies that will eradicate poverty and better Kenyan lives.
The youthful MP elect further also promised to spearhead the war against drug abuse and crime.
The MPs who were elected in the recently concluded general election will be sworn into office on Thursday.
The MPs will elect their speaker, deputy speaker, leader of majority and minority respectively after taking oath tomorrow.
Preparations for the swearing are complete with NASA MP elects who had earlier threatened to boycott the swearing in are expected to attend and take oath.
