Embattled Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho has vowed to remain steadfast in campaigning for ODM chief Raila Odinga as he seeks the country's presidency.Joho said Sunday he will rally masses behind the former Prime Minister to ensure the President Uhuru Kenyatta-led Jubilee administration goes home in August.Joho hailed Raila for defending him even as he faces a myriad of challenges, adding that he will not be intimidated by the numerous investigations he is facing. He said Raila has the interests of the poor at heart and will also fight corruption. The county chief is under investigations over claims he forged a KCSE result slip of 1992 which he used to gain admission to the University of Nairobi. He was questioned by detectives in Mombasa last week over the saga and later moved to court where he obtained temporary orders stopping his arrest. He's also under a probe by the KRA over allegations of tax evasion.Speaking during an ODM rally in Kibera, Joho at the same time endorsed Raila for the NASA ticket stating he's the best candidate to defeat Uhuru in the forthcoming general election."We must be honest with ourselves. It is Raila who has the numbers. We will only beat President Uhuru if we have Raila as our flag-bearer," the Standard quoted Joho."With a lot of respect and humility, this country wants someone who has the numbers to send home the Jubilee government and that person is Raila Odinga," he added.Other NASA co-principals are Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka, ANC's Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetang'ula of Ford Kenya.
