Senate hopeful Carlos Kioko over the weekend disclosed that he will only serve for one term to open up senate role to youthful, progressive and well-educated candidates come 2022.

Kioko spoke when he received a campaign titled #MuthamaAeendeRetire by 'Concerned Youth' a civic group of youthful leaders.

The trendy campaign expresses concern with the incumbent deteriorating ability to execute senate responsibilities.

In one of the campaign posters, Hon Kalonzo is quoted referring the incumbent as a retarded leader and self-seeker.

Hon Kalonzo is on record openly supporting the emergence of youthful leadership across.

The campaign asks the youth to register in large numbers to elect candidates who articulate their issues not vote buyers.

"I will serve for only one term," disclosed Senate hopeful Kioko. He said his campaign team has identified key issues facing the youth and promised to prioritise on youth agenda and rural prosperity.

Kioko disclosed that he will sign MOU with the youth on his senate KPIs. "I'll selflessly serve my electorate," he said.

Another voter Mercy Mwikali said the youth were to blame for unemployment if they vote in retarded legislators while we live in the fast lane.

"We need progressive thinkers who think out-of-the box to explore futurist ideologies and solutions," she said.
