In an exclusive interview with Citizen on Thursday, Maendeleo Chap Chap leader pointed out that Kalonzo has no chance of becoming Cords flag bearer.

According to Mutua, there is no way Kalonzo will become Cord’s candidate when the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga is still part of the coalition and he has declared his intentions to vie for the seat in the next general polls.

"I think Cord and ODM have already decided that their candidate for president is going to be Raila Odinga and that is a sealed deal," said Mutua.

He added: "If Kalonzo is chosen as the flag bearer, then we will handle it at that time but I really doubt that." The outspoken governor also faulted his former boss for the fall out in his party alleging that he lacks stance. Mutua believes that Wiper party leader does not have what it takes to lead Ukambani leaders.

"Wiper has to put its house in order and that is why you are a lot of dissatisfaction among its members. Kalonzo has failed to offer leadership," Mutua said adding that Musyoka has been very inconsistent when articulating issues.

His tone is different all the times making people lose trust in his leadership.
