Haji, who is contesting on Amani National Congress Party (ANC) says that he has what it takes to send Jama and other rivals home on August 8.

Addressing supporters in Garissa Town on Thursday, Haji stated that he is the only candidate with a clear development agenda and vision for Garissa people.

The aspirant said  that if elected he will  promote business, woo local and foreign investment, boost security, eradicate famine and  hunger, empower marginalized groups and create jobs for thousands of jobless youth.

“I have a bigger dream for Garissa people and I will do everything to better their lives if elected governor,” said as quoted by the Star.

The governor hopeful who is senator Yusuf Yusuf Haji’s younger brother asked locals to trust him with the county’s top leadership.

He said that has the qualities and experience to spearhead development in the county.

The governor hopeful will be battling out with Governor Jama and former Permanent Secretary (PS) Ali Bunow Korane for the seat.

Governor Jama will be defending his seat on Wiper Party while Korane is contesting on Jubilee party ticket.
