Former Bumula MP Wakoli Bifwoli has vowed to vote for President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2017 saying he gave him a job when he failed to defend his parliamentary seat in 2013.
According to Wakoli, he has not joined the recently launched Jubilee Party but his vote will automatically go to President Uhuru Kenyatta come 2017.
Speaking in Miendo village in Bungoma West on Friday, Bifwoli said he has not joined any party and he went further to shower President Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto for attending his father's funeral where Cord leader Raila Odinga was absent.
"I failed terribly but Governor Kenneth Lusaka and Senator Moses Wetangula won and they had an opportunity to employ me but they never did," Bifwoli was quoted by the Star as saying.
Bifwoli further went to accuse Cord for 'abandoning him when he needed it most'.
"In 2013, I campaigned for Wetangula and Raila in Bumula and each got 25,000 votes. Uhuru got 800 voters but he employed me as the chairman of ADC," he added.
