An MP allied to the National Super Alliance (NASA) has said he doesn’t care who wins the October 17 repeat presidential election contested by opposition leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kangundo MP, Fabian Muli who was elected through a Muungano party ticket told faithfuls at Deliverance Church, Kakuyuni that they may choose either Raila or Uhuru provided they stood a chance to benefit in terms of development.
Kyule, who was accompanied by Kangundo West MCA, Titus Kaloki lamented that the country had stagnated in terms of development owing to the political squabbles between NASA and Jubilee allied legislators.
“I will not entertain anybody telling me nonsense about NASA and Jubilee politics. Parliament has not commenced business because of the infighting between the two factions. As your MP I tell you that I will work with whoever you elect,” he said.
The MP kicked a political storm last week when he attended a church service at Chrisco church in Machakos Town constituency where Deputy President William Ruto had been invited to campaign for Uhuru.
The MP said residents should only be preoccupied with ensuring their constitutional rights are met by any government or leader who rises to power.
He urged Christians to pray for peace during the electioneering period and called on Kenyans in all regions to coexist peacefully with one another.
