Film makers and producers who are operating filming businesses without licenses have six days to comply or risk being arrested.
The Kenya Film Classification Board CEO, Ezekiel Mutua said police would start to crack down on illegal film makers and producers next week.
The KFCB officials urged those who do not have licenses to acquire permits.
This statement was echoed by the CEO in his twitter handle.
"Those who do not take advantage of the grace period given by the board will have themselves to blame when police begin the crack down," he said.
The warning comes a week after another warning had been relayed to the public in an advert in the local dailies where the board gave filmmakers 14 days to comply or face arrest and prosecution.
