Through its chair John Mututho, these centres are working to benefit the managers at the expense of drug addicts.

'Over 60 per cent of the centres are only keen to make money.they do little in helping the addicts but do a lot to pocket their (addicts) money. However, I want to tell those in this illegal business that their days are numbered because we have started the process of closing illegal centres down,'' said Mututho.

Mututho spoke while on a two -day retreat for the authority in Naivasha.

He has been praised for his stand against illegal drugs like alcohol which had affected many youths in the country.
