Bogusero Assistant Chief Simon Mbwayo has told illicit brew dealers to opt to other businesses to earn a living.
This comes amid the ongoing crackdown that is going on in Kitutu Chache South.
Speaking at his office at Nyagancha area, Simon noted that despite the campaigns to end the illicit brew business in the region, some members of the community are still making and selling the liquor to the people illegally.
"Residents from the location dealing with liquor should know that their days are numbered. I will not hesitate to arrest those involved in the illegal business. There are so many business locals should engage in but illicit bre business such as chang'aa selling is not legal," he said.
He urged locals to heed to the law sinceit does not favour any illegal business or any one in the society.
"From next week, I will be going round with Nyumba Kumi officials conducting a search and arrest illicit brew dealers from door to door," he said
