Churches have been challenged to initiate measures that will help end the infiltration of the Illuminati cult in schools.
The head of the Adventist churches in Nyamira County Pastor Thomas Nyakundi claimed satanism has found its way in school hence the need for churches to address the issue as the vice seems to be catching the attention of students.
He called upon the church to come up with measures on how they will address the myriad of challenges facing schools.
“We have been seeing what our schools have been going through. As the church we need to come up with measures on how we can end and the only way we can do is to seek God's intervention," added the cleric on Friday during a prize-giving day at Sironga Girls High School.
He also challenged the government to recognise chaplains for the good work they are doing so that they can continue promoting spirituality which will transform students.
Education CS Fred Matiang’i who was the chief guest said they have a scheme of working with chaplains in the next financial year.
“The ministry has set up measures on how it will work with the chaplains as well as having strong parents associations which will articulate many issues,” noted the CS.
