Ford Kenya party leader and Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula has said that he is better placed to win than Kalonzo Musyoka or Raila Odinga.
His sentiments to the Standard intensifies the battle for the most coveted Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) presidential ticket.
Each candidate is fully backed by his respective party and no one is ready to give up before nominations.
The senator has been dismissed by many including his governor Ken Lusaka but he has remained adamant that he will be on the presidential ballot box.
Lusaka said that the senator’s attempt is pure wishful thinking which will never materialize. Others constantly remind him that he does not have the support to make him a governor thus the presidency is an overrated dream.
However, Wetangula believes that he is the most viable person to be fielded against UhuRuto. He said, “I am the one who has given them an assurance that I will be able to deliver a stronger punch against Jubilee and deliver victory for our coalition, which will be the victory for the country.
The person who can do that is "Wetang’ula".
