Kisii county women aspirant Donya Dorice Toto has said that she will win the seat in the August general election.
Dorice was speaking after she won the Jubilee party nominations held on Wednesday. She exuded confidence in winning in the general elections.
"The people have spoken well. It is time to put good campaign strategies to win against opponents from other parties who are seeking the same seat. I have the potential to campaign and win the votes in August", she said.
The former Egesa Fm presenter garnered 54,592 votes beating current women rep Mary Otara who garnered 15,821 votes.
Other aspirants were Bridgit Ombati who got 14,779 votes and Judith Miruka who managed 2,645 votes.
Dorice will now be facing ODM's Janet Ong'era in order to clinch the seat.
