[Photo: @banbasii/Twitter]Kiambu county governor William Kabogo has dissociated himself from the Jubilee party.Kabogo who lost the party ticket to Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu, during primaries in April, seeks to defend his gubernatorial seat as an Independent Candidate.Asked whether he supports Jubilee Party, for re-election in the August 8 polls, Kabogo said he had nothing to do with the President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto-led party."I'm done with Jubilee. I am an Independent Candidate and I can't associate myself with other people's party. Yes I was in Jubilee but the shambolic primaries made me leave," said Kabogo, who is the chairman of the Kenya Alliance of Independent Candidates (KAIC).Speaking during an interview with the public, organised by NTV, at the KICC in Nairobi, Monday evening, Kabogo who faces rivalry from Waititu, asked Kiambu residents to support him.He accused self centred politicians of politicking each time, instead of working for the electorates during and after, political campaigns.
