Taita Taveta Deputy Governor Mary Kibuka has downplayed allegations that she has political differences with Governor John Mruttu, and she intends to ditch him ahead of the August polls.In an exclusive interview with the Nation, Ndiga said she will rally the electorate behind Mruttu to enable him retain his seat in the forthcoming general election.She asked the governors supporters to ignore rumors that she has differences with her county boss, terming them as baseless.“The media reports that I am among deputy governors who are not in good terms with their governors are false,” said Ndiga, as quoted by the Nation.She also said she will continue supporting Mruttu for the remaining period as he seeks re-election.“I am with the governor,” she added. Ms Ndiga has been an active member of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) as the party drums up support for Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader Raila Odinga to rise to power in the upcoming polls.
