Mathare Member of Parliament Stephen Kariuki has said that he has no regrets in joining Jubilee and that he is very happy to be in the right party.
Kariuki said that jumping ship from Cord to Jubilee was a difficult decision to make but that he had involved his constituents who strongly advised him to join Jubilee.
"I am happy to join Jubilee but it was not entirely my decision. The constituents in Mathare also played a part," he said.
The MP however said that he has no issue with Raila and hailed him for the much he had done for the country and wished the ODM leader good.
"I respect him for his ideals and what he has done for this country, which is why I joined ODM in the first place. I have no problem with Raila and I wish him all the best in the coming elections," Kariuki added.
Kariuki also vouched for President Uhuru Kenyatta re-election and said that he (the president) needed another term to complete what he had started for the country.
"The President deserves a chance to complete his development projects in the country," he stated.
