Visiting AFC Leopards and hosts Gor Mahia shared the spoils in their thrilling 1-1 draw played at the Nyayo Stadium Sunday afternoon.
After showing an improved performance by the boys, AFC Leopards coach Robert Matano is a man left purring with good words to his boys.
“We are improving game by game and players are pushing themselves. We needed the three points, but lack of concentration gifted them a goal," he said.
"Gor are currently in top form and getting a point against them is encouraging. With this performance, top 10 finish is still realistic for us. I am proud of my boys’ performance," added Matano.
Despite the draw, Gor Mahia are still six points clear of second-placed Sofapaka with a massive 44 points.
Ingwe on the other hand are 12th with 24 points.
