The MP says she is not afraid of going to the ballot.

According to the Star, Ndambuki said  she is confident of being re-elected in the event a by-election is conducted.

“Kalonzo should go on and call for a by-election, I am ready for it,” she said as quoted by the Star on Thursday.

Ndambuki accused Wiper party of intimidating her.

She claimed that the party frustrated her after she refused to support the election of Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Jnr  in a by-election following the death of Mutula Kilonzo senior.

Ndambuki defended her defection to Jubilee Party saying Kilome residents asked her to do so.

The lawmaker is among several Wiper legislators who crossed over to the Jubilee Party.

Wiper has since warned the defectors saying they will have to relinquish their seats and go for a by-election.

On Tuesday, Wiper secretary general Hassan Omar said the party has written to the defectors asking them to relinquish their seats.
