Opposition coalition NASA presidential candidate Raila Odinga has maintained that he is not afraid of facing President Uhuru Kenyatta in the repeat polls.
Speaking on Wednesday, the Opposition chief noted that he is ready to battle it out with Uhuru once again.
He, however, maintained that he would only participate in the polls if the competing ground is equal for all players.
“I am not afraid to face Uhuru Kenyatta in the repeat poll. However I will not go into an election until IEBC rectifies all the mistakes pointed out by the Supreme Court,” he stated.
He also insisted that French firm Safran Morpho and Al Ghurair should not be engaged at any stage in the electoral process.
“The court found out that there were forgeries in the forms used in the transmission of results and therefore Al Ghurair and Safran should not be contracted again. There is enough time to look for an alternative,” he said.
“The vote of millions of people who wake up in the morning must count and IEBC should not waste the time of people who are ready to be part of change,” he added.
President Kenyatta's election win was nullified by the Supreme Court, setting stage for another election which has since been slated for October 26.
