[Photo|Raila Odinga]IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati, met NASA leader Raila Odinga, Thursday, a day after he issued a yellow card to the political class, warning them against interfering with the Commission's work.During the 40-minute meeting, which was also attended by NASA co-principal Musalia Mudavadi, Chebukati said he will have to meet with Jubilee Party presidential candidate President Uhuru Kenyatta, before giving the way forward. On his part, Raila said that Kenyans wanted a free, fair and credible election, adding that IEBC has not guaranteed a credible election, basing on Chebukati's statement, after the resignation of Commissioner Dr Roselyn Akombe. He warned the Jubilee Party, against warning him that they are not interested in having a dialogue with NASA, saying he is not begging for a meeting with Kenyatta.According to Raila, Jubilee thinks he is begging for a meeting with them, to have talks on how to form a grand coalition government (nusu mkate)."What Jubilee said yesterday, under those circumstances do you think it will be proper for me to meet with Uhuru Kenyatta? It is made to appear as if I am the one who is begging for a meeting because I want nusu mkate.. I don't need any of those poisoned nusu mkates from Jubilee," said Odinga.Mudavadi on the other hand reiterated Chebukati's statement, and asked stakeholders to think twice, before asking IEBC to go ahead with an election that might plunge the country, in a crisis.
