Speaking during a breakfast show on Radio Maisha on Monday, Oloo said he has been judged harshly shortly after he declared his interest to dislodge the incumbent MP Ken Obura who has been perceived to be warming up to Jubilee.

"I am not seeking the seat because I have seen some opportunity. For the record it is the people of Kisumu Central who prevailed upon me to contest during a rally in Kisumu," he said.

Oloo who was a staunch Jubilee supporter surprised many when he made a political about-turn and joined the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM).

He further added that he would help the newly formed National Super Alliance (NASA) ascend to the presidency in the August 8 polls.
