NASA leader Raila Odinga has dismissed sentiments that he is a politician fighting only for power.
Raila instead said that all his actions should be taken positively and added that he was part of the team fighting against electoral malpractices in Africa.
He stood his ground in rejecting President Uhuru Kenyatta, adding that the Opposition and its supporters will never allow his October 26 re-election to stand.
"Raila Odinga is not power-hungry. I want to see democracy properly established in our country. Currently, we have autocracy where elections are just a ritual incumbents do after every five years," he said during an interview with Al Jazeera on Sunday.
"We want to be the people who will do away with rigging in Africa to show Africans deserve a better standard than."
