Newly launched Labour Party of Kenya (LPK) party leader Ababu Namwamba has said he is now in the same political class with the Cord leader Raila Odinga as they are all party leaders.
The Budalang'i lawmaker continued with his scathing attack against the Odinga-led Orange party saying it did not give him space to carry out his responsibilities during his tenure as Secretary-General.
Ababu's frosty relationship with the party culminated in his resignation in June and has since been traversing the country popularizing his 'Third Force' movement.
Addressing boda-boda operators at Port Victoria town on Tuesday, Ababu accused ODM of not giving him freedom to associate with other political parties freely and that he was later on branded a 'mole'.
"The position I now hold in the political arena is at par with ODM leader Raila Odinga's," Namwamba was quoted by the Star.
Since quitting his powerful Secretary General position, Ababu has been ODM's fiercest critic, accusing it of suppressing democracy in the manner it is run.
