Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has said he is ready for the ODM party nominations.
On Wednesday, Nyagarama dismissed claims that he will ditch the Orange party for fear of being losing out in the party primaries.
Speaking in Nyamra town, the county boss said he is prepared to face off with other ODM governor aspirants for the party ticket.
“Some have said that I want to ditch ODM for another party but I want to assure Nyamirans that I am more than ready to face my opponents during nominations. If I lose, I will accept but I won’t decamp before the nominations,” he said.
He ridiculed those who are yet to register as voters stating that they have no right to speak about him and his leadership since they won’t vote for him or any other politician in the county in the forthcoming polls.
Nyagarama is expected to face off West Mugirango MP James Gesami and Apoko Kumenda who are for the ODM ticket to contest for the gubernatorial post in the August 8 general election.
